I want good isolation to appreciate my Xelentos to the fullest. I have been browsing the web for days in search of tips with the perfect compromise between durability, fit, isolation and comfort. Mission impossible!

I love the comfort, fit and isolation of my Comply tips, but they require TLC and don´t last long.

I´ve ordered some Symbio MandarinES, but based on reading I don´t think they will fit as securely or comfortable as Comply foams.

I´ve had a look at Sony Triple Comfort, the silicone foam seems awesome, but are expensive.

I know you can DIY by placing small Comply or similar memory foam inside a silicone tip, but I want to try an alternate method:

Spray Comply tips with a thin layer of silicone spray.

I assume that this will reduce maintenance and increase longevity, while maintaining comfort and fit of foam. I´ll post and update when I´m done!
