I feel myself get hooked on IEMs.  Just picked up a pair of Shure SE215s and really, like them.  Been using them straight out of the iPod or iPhone.  Also with the laptop and Headroom Bithead.  So of course never being satisfied I wonder about different amps for IEMs.  RSA Shadow.....RSA Tomahawk........

Many IEMs greatly improve if connect with AMPs through lineout and iPods, iPhones offers lineout signals through dock connector. The few highend portable AMPs are listed here like RSA Mustang P51, XM6, iBasso PB2, ALO Continental and Meier Stepdance.

fiio e9+e7 sounds excellent with my SE215s. makes it really bassy IMO. i find some IEMs to not benefit that much from amping like my ety HF5 and sleek audio SA-6
