Hey Guys,
With winter here we're into static season and I've begun shocking all my stuff through the headphone cable again. Does this happen to you guys too? For example, I'll have my headphones connected to my AV Receiver and when I go to get up off the couch some static will go through the cable, this usually makes the video signal drop out for a second which I'm not a fan of.
How damaging is this? I would imagine manufacturers would have accounted for this but then why does the signal still drop out when it happens?
This is the main reason I want wireless headphones, that amd I'm sick of tripping over the cable or sucking it up into the wheels of a chair all the time. If only I could find a good pair of wireless headphones designed for sound quality instead of ANC.
