Looks very good and the internals seem clean and well organized too. Plus, the price is *very* good.

Did anyone test this device?

The schematic shows an LT317 as the output for the filament power, so you would probably have to be careful of what tubes you used, as the LT317 only provides 1.5A if I am not mistaken.

U can read those schematics? Cool:)

Hmmmm..in layman truck driver language ,
How would u rate it against a DV336se for e.g..

Is it punching above its price?

Are you talking about my link or Lorspeaker's ? Or both?

@Lorspeaker
That is indeed a tank :). I would preffer something prettier

I have not heard the DV336SE or this E100, If I had a choice I would go with the DV336SE as it is designed for 6AS7's & 6SN7's from the start. Also it is well reviewed around here and the build quality looks exceptional on the Darkvoice... That was my first choice before I bought the LD MK IV.

The new link you posted looks like it might be a decent amp though.$400 landed and duty / brokerage puts it a little steep for an unknown Chinese amp.

Your link, the Lorspeaker link was added after I commented, I just don't like the power supply in the E100...

I guess for the price one cannot expect wonders. If the power supply is the only issue I'd say it is still a very good deal.

Asked the vendor about tube compatibility, maybe we get some details.

It looks nice, but for 109 dollars, it seems like too much of the cost goes into the chassis. This is like the opposite of something like an O2.

This being a made in china device the case prolly costs less than $10.

In any case I asked two ebay vendors for details like tube compatibility. No answer :frowning2:

A so called "luxury edition" came up

Still noone who can share a few words about SQ?
The design will fit very well in my rack but $169 is a bit much for a blind buy&test.

Sorry to raise an old post, but I recently bought the parts (PCB/electronic components, potentiator, case, transformer, etc) and assembled one.
The sound quality is decent. I don't have experience with other tube amp like DarkVoice 336SE, therefore I can not compare them.
But I think this is a good amp and works great for both Q701 and DT990 pro (250ohm).

I have rolled several tubes (ordered by my preference):
power tube: Svetlana 6h13c, CSF 6080WA, Shuguang 6n5p
driver tube: dual GE 5654W with adapter, Tesla E88CC, various 12au7/12bh7 with adapter, Mullard PCC189
Currently I am using Svetlana 6h13c + dual GE 5654W with adapter.
Someone have mentioned that 5670 might be a good option in place of 6922 (adapter needed), might give it a try some other time.

So can I use 5670s for the 6n11 tune?
