Hi guys, any recommendation for cable for Grand Maestro? Disregarding the sound differences, looking for just ergonomics - want something light, easily bendable, and also to avoid hearing the bumping on the body while walking.

I've heard good things sonically about the Eletech Raphael (and I already bought one in preparation for my GM), but I know you asked to disregard sound differences.Hi guys, any recommendation for cable for Grand Maestro? Ergo wise, the Raphael is great too! Or you can try the Kinera Leyding, it's very supple and bendable too.
Nice, I have Raphael on my list to see if I can catch a good used price. I will take a look at Kinera Leyding alsoI've heard good things sonically about the Eletech Raphael (and I already bought one in preparation for my GM), but I know you asked to disregard sound differences.

After almost 4.5 months, my CIEM Grand Maestro has finally arrived! Here are some unboxing pics.
I'll refrain from reviewing it until my ears adapt to the CIEM mould/sound (this is also my first CIEM) so I'll probably write something up next month (or never, if the Grand Maestro distracts me too much!)
Here's a one-liner review:
They sound incredible.

Very nice looking! I am tempted to get mine reshelled but this waiting time is terrible.

I'd do it ASAP if I was 100% sure I'd do it sooner or later, it was a tough wait for me (throughout winter depression) but I pulled through if you can distract yourself for 3 months you'll be fineVery nice looking! I am tempted to get mine reshelled but this waiting time is terrible.

Y'all should try the Volür if you are hesitant with GM due to their issues.
Volur has been on my whishlist because I hear lots of good things about bass for it. Currently if something can get close to the sound of GM I would switch only due to big long nozzle issues I have.
I have GM CIEM (had universal prior)
And I have Volur.
In no hurry to part with either, but, if push came to shove, Volur would be on the block.
Of course, ask 10 other people, and you get 10 different opinions.
Side note: waited 6 months for my GM CIEM, so delivery is twice as fast now.

I've not heard the Volur yet, but listening to the GM now, it reinforces what I've always said..
The Grand Maestro is a Sony IER-Z1R v2.
(the only thing the Z1R does significantly better than the GM is a cathedral-like experience, but this is simply due to tuning; Z1R's recessed mids lends to that presentation on purpose, while GM's mids are dead neutral).

I listened to the GM at CanJam vs the Volür. I would be happy with the GM but would keep the Volür. Which is good because I'd have had to sell the Volür at a loss to finance the GM. Which I would have done. Either way they are both great IEMs and it's just subjective personal preference. I liked the bass and mids better on the 64 audio. I thought the switch on the GM was a cool idea, but the mids were a bit too 'quiet' with it off and too much with it on. That was just with 20 min though. Ultimately I'd rather have both and really enjoy them each before deciding. But that's in a perfect world
One thing I can say the GM is great desktop iem - it is amazing on my feliks euforia, never heard such an extension and rumbling. I first started with black module and thought that my teeth will fall off It was more L shape sound. When I switched to blue module it is exactly how I like it to be, present hitting hard and rumbling but balanced with everything else.
When I plug it into DC Elite I guess it doesn't have the correct amount of curent to drive it properly, it just sounds ok-ish when compared to desktop chain. So definitely needs correct source to shine.

Not ready to buy, but what I was always wondering: Will the blue module be available in other colours too?
I personally would hate the idea "ruining" the aesthetics of a custom IEM because I am "forced" to use a blue module if I want a specific sound

From what I heard there are other color modules that are in the works, not sure when they might release them in the future but I do agree that the blue module might not match with a lot of Fatfreq's faceplate designs. Not ready to buy, but what I was always wondering: Will the blue module be available in other colours too?
