Really strange, really...I wasn't the only one who found them boring. Moreover, the tour organized on Tellement Nomade had been stopped prematurely by the retailer in France at the origin of the tour, he obviously did not find the returns quite dithyrambic... And then, 2k$/€ for a packaging worthy of an entry-level IEM, Aure Audio is not serious on this point.
It's not very important that our points of view differ on the Elixir, we have to accept that we don't all expect the same thing, and that's a good thing.
But let's get back to the FH9s, which deserve it.
They are on top of my list of robust (weight, density) and energetic uiem's, FH9's included (the same) ...
Those one are more "reference" oriented than these Elexir's, which are fun/hot/W tuned, with a strong bass, strong and forwards mediums, and a sparkling top end (that needs to be tamed, or controlled). My current exemplary. Very strange.
A list of gears that I find boring :
U12t, U18t (not really boring but generic tuning), Anole vx, UE18+ V3, FitEar Fitear (when you compare it against a 111, a 334 or a 435 ! No comment)...
But yes, it is true that the Aure packaging is just terrible. And the stock cable is a piece of s....t
Exactly the contrary of the Fh9...
