I remember reading this discussion. 
 
the ampless stacking module looked like a very short version of the normal amp modules, and it offered no headphone out, only the USB jack.

oh sweet. that's perfect if you don't use it anyway. so has this been rumoured or has it been verified by FiiO?

Two amp modules are out, as well as several firmware updates with pretty decent changes.. I'd say it's maturing right on schedule. 

Still no amp modules available in the UK.
Are they really for sale yet outside China?

I had the leather case on order about 5 or 6 weeks ago and there is still no UK stock for at least a month. I got a Dignis case in the end.
1 point of note is that you have to keep taking it on and off if you use line-out like me because the case material is too thick to connect line-out whilst it is on.

I tried a couple of DSD 5.6Mhz albums on X7 without success, all I hear is short cuts of music, 80% is blank.
What am I missing?
