I've noticed that the majority of the attention around here seems to go to portable amps. I was interested in buying a portable amp, so I did some reasearch and decided that a good place to start would be the M^3. I haven't purchased that amp yet. It just hit me that I don't really need the portability. I assume that people are paying a premium for the smaller size. Are full-sized amps generally better than portable ones when the amps being compared are in the same price range?

I'm really just looking for the best amp available for around $200. I have the Denon D2000 and listen to indie, folk, rock, and pop. Thanks for any input.
