Although the Susvara is the technically more accomplished headphone, depending on the setup…the HEKse can have an intoxicating groove.

Yes, the HEKse’s are no slouch. I prefer their easy to drive nature over the Susvara’s, which are very amp dependent.

Tried it at CanJam Chicago. Found it ok but meh. Not worth the price imho.

I have just come back from the London CanJam and I tried the Susvara with a number of high end amps including the DCS Lina Stack.
At this level they are all excellent it's a matter or personal choice.
For me, I preferred the Abyss TC 1266 with the Lina Stack rather than the Susvara.

as one who has loved my 13r with my susvara I recently received after an interminable wait my cfa3...based on the gilmore design built by a builder it is a marvel at a fraction of the cost of the EF1000 ...incredibly powerful and has taken my susvara to a new level...I have never heard the EF1000 so I certainly am not suggesting it isnt a top option only that it is incredibly expensive...on the other hand cfa3 is an effort to purchase and wait for and of course if you have a problem you have to work with the builder who in my case is in sweden...on the other hand the performance is simply awe inspiring with both my susvara and avbyss TC...again,not saying anything negative about any other amp here

Very curious about this as well. If I were to take a guess based on my experience with AHB2, CFA3 and WA33, I think EF1000 will give you more energy (stronger bass, fuller sound) while WA33 EE JPS will sound thinner, more detailed and euphoric. I would be pleasantly surprised if my predictions are wrong

How do you like your 13r vs CFA3? I was curious about 23r and I figured 13r may be similar. I have a CFA3 so I can draw a reference.
