I just realized I left my EQ on from yesterday.

Today I got my Simgot EA1000 Fermant. I had heard very good things about the bass, and I was confused as to why it really wasn't that impressive when I tried it. I was even a little mad, because I found it to be sibilant and the treble could get harsh at times. It wasn't until I thought about going to mess with EQ, to perhaps help with the treble harshness, that I saw I had an EQ on from another iem. As soon as I turned it off the bass just kicked in, and the harsh treble went away.

I've been listening to this iem for about 3 hours... Now I have to back and relisten to my entire playlist again to test the iem correctly. I'm glad the bass is as good as I heard though.

Great to hear you found the reason to why it sounded off.
Heard a lot of good things about the EA1000, seems like a good contender for an upgrade over my Aria Snow :)

That happened to me a few weeks ago...it makes you think how often we shun a pair of cans or items when the EQ is accidentally on and throwing off the sound
