They are really good. I'd say they punch quite a bit above their price point. They have good detail retrieval and separation. They feel fairly punchy when the bass demands. They don't feel harsh to listen to. Soundstage isn't huge, comparing to something like the Monarchs Mk2 that has more front and back depth but it's still very good. I'll compare later with the IT-07. Out of memory, I'd rank these way above the EST112 from Dunu. Testing with the amp14 on a DX320, I'd say this iem in particular shows the full flavor of whatever amp or amp module you are listing to.

Cool, thanks! Looking forward to your comparison to the IT07! How are those interesting plugs like? I am wondering why they chose two different cable designs (colors) for the 3,5 and 4,4 cable?
Received mine yesterday.
What I can say right now…really impressive sound quality. Absolutely balanced sound sig. lots of details, bass is on it’s place. Wow. Didn’t even consider single DD iem to sound like this.
Burn-in is mandatory. About 15 hours passed and sound still changes a lot in a positive way (with dx320 amp12).
The main issues for me are - bulky cable, moderate hiss on a high gain and an amount of time to find suitable set of ear tips.
Finally tried the IT05 today!
And really liked it!
First, build and design is very, very nice! Fit is super comfortable and flush, also love the cable and especially the small plug!
Sound is balanced but to my ears slightly on the brighter side. Star of the show are treble and mids, bass kind of blends in but does not search for attention.
Soundstage is more intimate to my ears.
Since technicalities are excellent I feel this set has a very good price performance ratio - if you like the (brighter) sound signature.
IT07 in comparison has quite a different sound signature. Very noticeably stronger in the bass department and in general a bit fuller, darker and more layered/ wider soundstage.
Do you guys find vocals a little bit on the lean side too? I find the bass quite boosted, but the quality is pretty good; treble is decent as well, though it doesn't feel particularly well extended. Not the fastest but keeps up well enough on faster tracks, I also find that the layering is not that great when it gets busy (Kikagaku Moyu's Trad from 4:30 onwards). As for fit, it's really comfortable and it's definitely one that I could easily keep plugged in for hours.

Yeah vocals seems to be on the lean side, especially woman vocals.
From my first impressions, IT05 need to have a warmer-sounding / organic source. They sound pretty well with iBasso DX240 (neutral-warm sound for me). Later I will try with Link 2 Bal.
Anyone try to change filters yet?
Anyway I think IT05 are very good IEM-s for asking price.
