Anyone had a dodgy volume knob, mines decided it only wants to turn the volume down.... a teardown guide would be pretty handy bet the rotary encoder just needs abit of contact cleaner... probably not knowing my luck lol.
Even if you get some sound advice or a "teardown" I would still open a support ticket and let the issue be known, in case it gets worse there will be a record of it.

Cheers!!

Me too :scream:
Mine started changing volume at random, anywhere between min and max, irrespective of the direction of turning.

*Fixed it myself*

After contacting support found out i have jack bugger all warranty as i bought it used off ebay, quoted £90 without even looking at it.

Rotary encoder wheel, on the underside dry solder joint. also worked in some contact cleaner/lubricant, i then washed the board with isoprop (to remove excess cleaner/lube/etc) it's working like a treat for the last week. volume up down all 12 steps and the push button of the rotary encoder are spot on.
(ifi support auto closed the support ticket).

so yeah tldr = abit of a reflow (solder paste) and clean/lube of the rotary encoder = good as new.

Well seeing IFI are members here, they will definately have a record of it now.
i'm guessing with the age of the go blu product they've seen this a fair bit already (or are about to).

I had to factory reset the Go Blu due to it not wanting to connect to my new phone.

Once reset, it now connects fine. However...

Going to update the firmware, I downloaded both the Gaia App and the Firmware from iFi. When I enter the Gaia App and select the Go Blu, then click on settings, rather than getting the option to update the firmware at the top, I get "Touch Latency Config":

I can't find any other settings and info just gives me the MAC address.

I have tried some googling but haven't found the answer.

Am I missing/doing something stupid?

Nevermind.

After posting the message I gave it another try and it appeared.

No idea why as I had already tried it a dozen times. Maybe it feared HeadFi lol.

Unfortunately, after 10 months the replacement unit is splitting again and the battery life is diminished. Can't recommend a product for this price if it doesn't last a year of use.

I assume it it the battery swelling causing the unit to come apart. Happened over a periodic of two weeks after I first noticed it.
Surely you have a years warranty on the replacement? Hopefully the replacement, replacement unit will do its job.
