iFi Zen Stream: Setup, Tips, Tricks...

Hello,

I made a reset of the Zen which was in version 2.32.9, on the software it is indicated now 2.31.7 and it tells me that there is no more recent version... what should I do?
They could be making changes in the firmware versions, let me check this for you.

For all those wondering as well, let me reset mine and see what comes up, that way I can see any issues before they occur.

I will report back by tomorrow at the latest.

I can confirm that if you need to reset the current version will be 2.31.7, and not what we were on, so reset only if absolutely necessary.

I am also looking into and reporting that this is happening, thanks for pointing it out, we shall resolve this shortly.

Now that I have reloaded the 2.39.2 playback with Qobuz via Mconnect starts to stop randomly... It never did with version 2.31.7
Personally I have never had any issues with MConnect but something must be different. Are you on the Android or IOS version, Paid version or free?

I would also post a note to MConnect to see if there is something they can suggest.

Also have you ever tried any of the other options for Qobuz, BubbleUpNp and the like?

Thanks, I appreciate it, it should be a good test, we will get you squared away. New firmware should be out in a bit to address Tidal Max as well, so there are things in the pipeline.

Also, we are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of a Qobuz Connect feature. Hopefully, Qobuz is getting closer on that front as well!

Last thing you can try doing the reset one more time by following (Exactly) this post...

After that just follow along with this video... (Wired only is best practice) Then setup wifi when verification all is well.



P.S. You may want to also reboot your modem and computer running Roon, I have had the Zen drop out of Roon and a quick restart solved this for some reason.

I was able to get my Zen Stream working again. The only thing is, it only works in the AIO setting. I am only using it as a Roon Endpoint and when I try to change it to Roon (2), I am not getting any sound. I do have everything turned off in settings except for Roon.

Are you on the latest firmware? Roon mode was broken on the previous version, if I'm not mistaken. I also use Roon and is working perfectly since the latest firmware

Roon has its own screen for Roon Mode on ZS...

It’s been more than 3 hours that Bubble is launched continuously, no cuts, tomorrow night I try again Mconnect... I hope it’s okay because I don’t like the Bubble interface!
I hope so as well, I always liked MConnect when I had to use it, but haven't as much lately as I use Roon.
