Hello everyone, this is my first post.

I've been listening to portable digital audio since before the iPod was invented (never owned one though). Recently I bought my first headphone amp, a Neco Soundlab V.2. This is a lovely, honest sounding piece of work, but has unfortunately given me the headphone amp bug, and I swiftly ordered an iBasso D10, mainly due to the many good words said about it on this site.

It's somewhere between Hong Kong and London at the moment, but I'll update this thread when it arrives and I've connected it to my iHP-140 with the Sys.Concept optical cable (also due to arrive soon), and give you my impressions.

D10 and SysConcept cable now in my possession. Wow!!!

Unfortunately this now means upgraded portable headphones are necessary. Currently choosing between the usual suspects (Westone, Klipsch, Shure, UE etc)...
