I agree with everything you said. I liked Enigma and Enigma+ so much that I sold all my IEMs because I will not listen to them anymore. I just don't understand why there is no interest for my listing of EnigmaI've had my b-stock Enigma for a week now and I have to admit that it is the best IEM I've ever heard/owned. Admittedly, I've not owned any of the TOTL iems out there. The most expensive I've ever owned was a pair of CF Andromeda 2020 and I had a chance to try a pair of CF Solaris 2020.
I've not changed from the black/black filters as I'm liking how they sound at the moment. I've been rediscovering some of Diana Krall's albums that I haven't listened to in a long time and wow! I listen to a lot of different types of music, but jazz just seems to shine for me!

I suppose even thought they're a good buy at that price, 999 Euros is still a big price for some. As IMR isn't a mainstream manufacturer, there'll be less people interested and as it's a niche item, you're fishing in a smaller pond for buyers who can spend the asking price.I agree with everything you said. IMR is too niche product special when we speak about top tier. People don't know what enigma are, so they can't justify this price. Even if they worth it.I agree with everything you said. I could make that purchase now, but $1000+ is a huge threshold to cross, mentally if not financially. So while I could "afford" it, the opportunity cost (being unable to spend on other interests) is just too high.
I'm sure they are better than the Elan+, but I also suspect the difference isn't huge. Enough to notice, sure, but not enough for me to spend $1k.

I use my Enigmas with ifi gear (ifi stream/zen dac stack and ifi air can) and they work really well with it. So it could be a good one to try, especially with the mems switch. It would be interesting to listen to ENIGMA with ifi Diablo by turning on the mems switch on Diablo.

The IMR dawn is now 50% off on the Ebay store making them £50 which is a great deal for this little marvel.
I'm using my Enigma with A&K SE300 and Cayin RU7 and it sounds amazing with bothI use my Enigmas with ifi gear (ifi stream/zen dac stack and ifi air can) and they work really well with it. So it could be a good one to try, especially with the mems switch.

Some sold on Ebay recently for a final auction price equivalent of around 840EUR which supports this point. They maybe aren't well known enough to command higher resale values?I suppose even thought they're a good buy at that price, 999 Euros is still a big price for some. If I had £1K I'd buy em in a heartbeat! Love my Titan the promise of improved sound from them is so tempting

Very true.IMR is too niche product special when we speak about top tier. People don't know what enigma are, so they can't justify this price. Even if they worth it.
Sold my UM Mest mk2 in an hour. That too at a price greater than the Seraph.
And the Seraph is better by miles.
Tough sell IMR.
Titan sounds as good as the Enigma . If you have 1k in cash perhaps better to buy something else.If I had £1K I'd buy em in a heartbeat! Live my Titan the promise of improved sound from them is so tempting
What is this?I recently received this little green miracle, it sounds amazing with Enigmas, I didn’t even expect that it sounds at the level of expensive DAPs.
But it needs power from a power bank, with additional power it sounds great.
You should try Cayin RU7 dongle with Enigma. You will be blown away
I agree that it's night and day difference. I has Elan+ in the past and it is far below EnigmaIt's literally day and night difference.
