Ha, I know..........me too, I would like to know about the impressions.Do you have any impressions yet? Very curious to hear!
So I guess there is a slight delay, though I’m actually getting two separate things in the mail. I emailed, but was not told the specifics on which item is causing the hold-up. So that’s the lowdown..........don’t mean to leave anyone hanging. I will post first impressions right here in this thread before writing a full review. I normally don’t review such devices, but this one intrigues me! My instincts (for whatever reason) say it will be special! Let’s hope so!

Dose this run on an internal battery, or draining current from the source?
Thx

There is no battery in UA3.Dose this run on an internal battery, or draining current from the source?

If you want small DAC/AMP running on battery and separate from the source, you would have to look at our UA5 or UP5.

How good is the 3.5 compared to 4.4?
Differences in sound quality?
Differences in sound quality?
Can the UA-3 be used in this configuration: Mac Mini > UA-3 > speaker amplifier?

4.4mm is better in driving power, measurements and also in our sound impressions.

Yes, it can be used. Just get simple 3.5 to RCA cable and should be good to go. If your speaker amp also works as pre-amp, it would be best to set UA3 to maximum volume, both software and hardware and control it on the amplifier.
