If I woke up in the middle of the night to an intruder and that was within arms reach I would go for the bokken every time.
It's hard as a rock, light as a feather and what it hits breaks.

My EDC pocket knife. It’s not my favorite pocket knife in terms of ease of opening, but it’s super light weight, doesn’t look tactical (a plus sometimes in an office environment, and the CPM steel is easy to keep razor sharp

Mago Italian made 11 inch OTF double-action stiletto switchblade with double-edge blade that weighs 8 oz.
Push the button it jumps out the front, push it again and it retracts

I have other bade styles but really like the stiletto, though this is the only automatic knife i have. Assisted opening is what I carry, twins. If you have two they must match.​

I tried to get better pix i=of the Stiletto to show the proportions of it in hand. It's big, but not unwiedly. They make 13 inch size, I likew the 9 inch.
