Occasionally, after streaming Qobuz using mConnect for about half an hour or so a type of distortion will be heard. It will cease if I pause and restart playback.
I am using mConnect on an iPhone 12. I have a USBridge setup as an UPNP server. The USBridge is hardwired to the router. The USB output of the USBridge is connected to the USB input of a Musician Audio Pegasus DAC.
I also have a local DLNA server. While streaming from the local DLNA server to the USBridge UPNP I do not notice the distortion.
It is difficult to describe the distortion, but it seems to tend toward a higher frequency and starts out minor and increases in volume over a few minutes.
Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this?
