After two years, my NAD C542 disc drawer doesn't want to open or it will open halfway. I have to push the open close button s few times before it will fully open and close. I have heard that it could be a belt drive issue.

Does anyone know where to get a replacement belt drive for the unit.

I have really enjoyed the player otherwise. Before the problem became an issue I noticed that the drawer would open and I would find the CD in the drawer but the CD was out of the disc well in the back of the drawer. It was like there was a timing issue with the drawer and the disc release.

Thanks for the help. I have e-mailed the Australian distributor (where I bought the unit) and the one you mentioned. We will see.
