Ok so basically I have been researching like crazy looking into my first pair of headphones. Im not sure about used so my budget for a bnib pair is 150 or a bit lower would be better. Below are what I have narrowed if down to tell me which one would be best or if any others are worth looking into

ATH M40X I may be willing to pay for the 50x probally not-dont want the 50
Sennheiser 380 or 280 Pro
Shure SRH 440

I would love some opinions on the above and anything else. I mostly listen to hiphop but also some rock as well. Another question I have. For the headphones I purchase if they have a 2.5mm jack can i just get a cabel that size and run that cabel.
