My ATH m50 headphones need to be sent away for repair since the hinges broke, and I'm stuck with crappy skullcandies and apple headphones, which really hurt my ears. What in ear headphones would you recommend that's close to that quality? I would like them to stay in well so I can use them while I exercise, have good bass/good for heavy metal since I listen mostly to that. I have a price range around $100.  Thanks!

No wonder your M50s are broke if you were trying to push them in your ears

My choice would be the Soundmagic E10, not too much outlay, good bass and should do metal pretty well.

Can be worn 'up and over' with the cable coming sown the backs of the ears for better support/microphonics.

Or the E30 which sit in the concha/bowl of the ear (and worn up and over), a similar sound but these may be more secure if you're exercising.
