I understand. Thanks
Jason, there are only inputs on the back of the MHA200, right? Where is the MHA200 pre-out you are talking about? In fact you could. The MHA200 has a pre-out so you simply drop it into an input on the 150
So you use the headphone balanced out. In some applications you would use the MHA200 in Unity modeJason, there are only inputs on the back of the MHA200, right? Where is the MHA200 pre-out you are talking about?

Yeah I have no complaints using the 1.25’s but would love tubes for the top end. It makes a small but enjoyable difference. I’ll probably end up with a pair of MC2301’s which I have my eye on used locally… I just didn’t want to spend that much for such a small frequency range and minimal impact but who knows they may be game changers… I’ll let you know if I pull the trigger. Cheers mateJust bi-wire using the 1.25kw …… much better end result. The 451 & 901 are great if you’re using very bright speakers that need calming
2301’s are likely going away soon. It’s going to be updated but it’s an awesome tube power ampYeah I have no complaints using the 1.25’s but would love tubes for the top end. Thanks Jason. I can see where the MHA200 volume control could be kept at unity gain and then a preamp could be connected to the MHA200 inputs. Then, one could use the preamp volume control for MHA200 headphone listening. So you use the headphone balanced out. In some applications you would use the MHA200 in Unity mode

Always! It results in a lower noise floor. Think of it this way, RCA has an antenna effect. The 3rd wire in an XLR acts like a rejection to that. Depending on what’s in the system it can manifest as louderHi Jason,
Do you know if using the XLR inputs on this amp sounds louder than using the RCA ones?

Quick question for you. Can the MHA200 power the Abyss Diana V2 cans? How is the power as compared to a solid state amp? It might now be enough for the Susvara but can you give me your thoughts? Even in PM if necessary as I am aware you can’t reply on the thread. Thank you in advance. Best Regards
Zoom app is spyware... not for me. Perhaps they can do one over Webex.
Hello.I am using iPad Pro next to the MHA200 for streaming music and noticed the scratching sound. Not a big deal for me so I didn't mention it until I saw this post.
I use mha200 with Diana Phi. Sounds wonderful when my amp was working that isHello.
Is there enough power from the MHA200 to power the Abyss Diana’s there? What model are they? Are they the V2, PHI or TC? How does it power them? Feel the need for more power? Thanks in advance for answering.
Cheers,
Enrico
If you’re a loud listener then the answer is probably not. If you’re a moderate level listener than yes, no problemHello.
