Hey all! I'm hoping to drum up some solid interest in a meet in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I've talked to the owner of a local headphone/hi-fi/vinyl shop called Music To My Ear, and he has offered to host the meet at his store. This place has a VAST array of headphones on site for demoing. For the longest time I've wondered what many of the flagship headphones I've read so much about sound like. Well, during my last visit I sat down and tried out a BUNCH of headphones including the following:
 
Mr. Speakers Alpha Prime and Alpha Dogs
Audeze LCD-3, LCD-X, and LCD-XC
Beyerdynamic T1,DT 990, DT 880
Sennheiser HD800, HD700, HD650, and HD600
Grado PS1000, GS1000, RS1, and PS500
 
 
My proposal is this: head-fiers out there who can make it out to Pittsburgh...let's meet up, become friends, show-and-tell our awesome gear, and check out the great stuff available at this cool shop.

That was music to my ears indeed. Most weekends work for me. I dont have a ton of headphone gear "at the moment" as I've been into speaker rigs recently, but i'll bring whatever I can. Of course, I can always bring my home stereo along.

Glad there are quite a few people interested! So, as of right now, I'm shooting for the first Saturday in March, which will be March 7th. If anyone knows for a fact that they cannot make it March 7th, speak up, because the day we choose is extremely flexible!
