I've been wondering about amps for my Astell&Kern AK120ii. Nothing too powerful. It'll only be asked to drive IEMs or low-impedance cans like my Sennheiser Momentum 2. I don't even need an amp. Everything sounds amazing. But I can't help my curiosity. What could it sound like. You know?
Must be small. Small enough to stack with the AK and still fit in the pocket. Must do balanced, as I find that to be the 120s great strength. But a secondary, single-ended output would be splendid.
I can't imagine spending more than $500 on it. So let's stay below that, yes?
