Hi everyone, it's time to replace my Apple earbuds (wired with 3.5mm jack) and I'd like to use the chance to get something with better sound and fit for under $70. Not wireless please, just a basic wired earbud with built-in microphone like the Apple original.

Something like the Beyerdynamic Soul Byrd looks promising, but with so many earbuds in the market I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. Any tips?

My favorite in that range are the 1more triple driver, bass like a full size headphone but treble can be high during bright tracks. The Sound magic e80c is well rounded and a must if you need something low profile. The Venture Electronics VE Monk is the best $10 I ever spent on earbuds. They're well rounded but need 30 hours of burn in and the treble smooths out. Plus I'm not afraid to take them everywhere since they're so affordable. The soundstage is really good too, I tried them gaming and it was fun. They're 64ohm so with an amp they get even better.
