With the Modi 2 Uber having an optical in alongside Coaxial and USB there may not be any more need for the Modi Optical.

I have a very specific application in mind and I don't want to pay an extra 50% for two inputs I will never use. Besides, if they're going to stop making it entirely they should remove it from the web site. Since they haven't done so, I assume they do indeed plan to keep selling it. I'm just wondering when.

I have no idea on the validity or effect of 'burn in', but if adding an Hours gauge to schiit, nixie tubes as the display would look fantastic!
