Does that mean the wildflowers will be blooming?
That window is long past. The bloom happens in April-May. This year it was a bit sparse but still pretty.Does that mean the wildflowers will be blooming?
indeed charging and autonomy are still an issue. Good friend has a model3 now for two years and required fixes already several times, mainly week plastic parts, and the battery is already showing less capacity, my guess is that fast charging is making the battery worseI would love to go electric, but living in an apartment building restricts me as I cannot install solar panels nor any EV charging equipment (and the landlord does not provide any charging spots, either).
I assume they would have issues with me throwing a charging cord from my balcony to the car at the other end of the parking lot some 100 yards away
Indeed, Teslas have spotty quality records and if one ONLY uses DC fast charging that will stress the battery before it's time. Properly taken care of with regular AC level 2 charging and only periodic DC level 3 (like on road trips) an EV battery will retain 80% of capacity at 20 years. The Tesla Model S we had before the Mustang was 6 years old when we traded it and battery capacity was down about 10%. Add red onions and I'm in 100%!Apologizes, but Ham and Pineapple pizza is what I grew up with in Vancouver and I like it - not gonna argue it is the best, but to each their own.
There is a study showing DC rapid charging is not significantly or statistically worse that Level 2 charging on battery life.Indeed, Teslas have spotty quality records and if one ONLY uses DC fast charging that will stress the battery before it's time. The Tesla had all manner of mechanical and electrical issues, the Ford has had none of those with only software-related issues to complain about.
This time of year I am craving home grown tomatoes and caprese salad. There has also been a lot of talk on a local site about pork tenderloin sandwiches, an Indiana favorite.Good thing Friday night is pizza night in my house. You all have me wanting pizza so bad!
I lived in Boulder, CO for a bit. The pizza just sucked compared to the NY style we get around here in South Jersey. I was told the bread doesn't rise properly, so that's why they use wheat, etc.
I missed cheesesteaks too Nothing compares to Philly.
EDIT to add: You all=Youze
I was too, Les. That changed as my system evolved. Other than the single ended signal path from my turntable -> phono preamp -> Loki Max, all other connections are balanced XLR. Upgrading those (analog) cables has - each time - delivered a discernable change in my system's overall tonal balance. And because I am painfully aware of the concept of confirmation bias, I have personally swapped the cables blind while an "audiophile" friend listened. He confirmed my choices 9 out of 10 times.I am what could probably be described as a ‘cable sceptic’.
I have two D-110 AES cables. Exceptionally well built at a cost effective price point, IMHO.I have, however, been impressed with DH Labs’ digital cables.
I use one of their BNC to BNC cables (D-750) and an AES/EBU (D-110) in my system.
DH makes high quality cables that are fairly priced (for the most part) and aesthetically pleasing.I was too, Les. That changed as my system evolved. Because of this, I am no longer a cable denier. Good-quality analog cables are 'tone controls', of a sort.
This still does not explain the difference I heard in the USB cables, though.
