Roon is fairly agnostic when it comes to file types. You could digitize your LPs to FLAC/WAV/AIFF whatever and Roon would play them just fine. You would, however, need to spend some time getting the metadata correct on your files which would be a fairly significant undertaking. The metadata on CDs is recognized by most CD ripping software and is not as much of a chore. As always, YMMV.

You can scan your cd covers or take a picture of the Album covers and then include this image file (jpg) in the folder with the song files.
The artwork will then show on the players screen. This works in Volumio not sure about Roon.

Qobuz doesn’t work directly with the ZEN Stream. One has to use mConnect. Tidal Connect works, as does Spotify Connect.
For Qobuz the Wiim or Bluesound is a much better bet.

I had a couple drams of the Octomore 6.3 earlier this week and I can't get the memory out of my head. Like a punch in the mouth with smoke. Tasty smoke that makes you want more. Exquisite!

MXN10 works great - never burps, its about 40' away (two walls and a massive fridge also in the way) from the WIFI. I use TIDAL. By comparison the "Zen" never worked using wifi - even less than a foot away - a beta product if I've ever seen one.

Yep, mine's been rock solid on WiFi as well.

26 years of wedded bliss on my 2nd (and final) try. 17 years for my first try. I married young.
