Yes. I was one who paid full retail on day one. Based on my enjoyment level, I got them dirt cheap..... YMMV :)
I bought a demo set for usd330. The store owner assured me that this headphone was rarely used so it was almost as good as new.
I also enjoy 660s2 a lot , it offers a different but equally enjoyable sound from my Grados and staxs.
I even bought a replacement cable from ebay, please see the below link.
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?ite...id=p4429486.m3561.l161211&_ssn=skyaudiocables

I highly recommend this ebay vendor to anyone who is looking for a replacement cable. His cables are well bulit and sounds equally good if not better than sennheiser supplied cable.

Not really. Rude, inconsiderate behavior in public has only gotten worse since the pandemic. And some folks in the US seem to take cultural pride in being jerks or just not caring/thinking about others.

You know he's the guy that sets his phone down on the table and uses speakerphone so that everybody with twenty feet has to listen to every word of his conversation.

I have been looking at tube amps but am not really willing to spend more than around $600 for one right now. I see a couple woo audio wa3 or wa6 in classifieds but am unsure if I'll like the darkened treble I keep hearing about.

I have had a Feliks Audio Echo before and kinda wanna snag one again if I can find it for around that price. Any other recommendations? I keep hearing the crack is popular but it looks so dinky I don't know if I trust it

Mind you I'm running a Lyr+ though I hear it's more solid state than tube. So if want a "tubey" amp lol

I'm really tempted at this point but

• Bottlehead Crack is not dinky!! Woo WA3, Woo WA6 have 'darkened treble' only when fitted with such tubes. Tube choice ("roll") will alleviate or eliminate this.

Any significant difference between the different generations of the Wa6?

Good question! I own WA6 Gen 1. This has the 5U4G socket and pair 6DE7 sockets. Via adapters, I can use 6922, 12AU7, 12AT7 type tubes in the 6DE7 sockets. With Gen 2, those tubes / sockets are 13DE7 -- the tube choices are limited.

Sorry, I don't think "folks in the US" have the corner on bad manners. It seems every country has their fair share.

It's a human condition, although it's rather rude of a lion when he or she eats a zebra, I suppose.

Never said that anyone “has a corner”. Just that here in the states it’s a cultural signifier to assert one’s privilege. Others elsewhere assert their privilege for the same or different reasons.

Does anyone else own both the Shure SRH1540 and Sennheiser HD660S2 headphones? I really love them both.
