Is the IE900 as easy to drive on an iPhone as the IE600? There’s a running promo again and it’s now on sale brand new.
AFAIK there's no volume cap or high gain volume on A306 the high gain started on zx707 onward. But FWIW my A306 has no highgain. With or without volume cap?
It is Azla SednaEarfit Max Standardwhat ear tips are you using there if I may ask?
i newly wedded to a pair, full quota and im happy as can be . The sonys get a lot of praise as much as the ie900. Would like to compare the z1. Typing this with the hd660s2 on and thought i was wearing the ie900Just ordered a pair during the sale. Will be quite interesting to compare them with my z1r.
Do you put the foam from the Sennheiser tips on those?
I am using the A306 often with IE900, not a fair pairing, but the A306 holds up well with IE900. Great portability, and to listen on bed to fall asleep with it cant be beaten.
Battery on A306 last well... as long as you don't stream with it. I normally just download the song or album to SD card then listen to it.
Got Apple Music, Tidal, Qobuz and Roon on it.
Hope it helps.
Not familiar with that DAC but I use my iems and over ears with same DAC/Amps all the time. Some Amps don’t have a low enough noise floor, but most I’ve used in last two years have been great with both.Hi all,
How do the IE900 fare with a stationary DAC/amp that’s designed (volume control, buffer stage, etc.) for over-ear headphones? I have an Audio Analogue AAdac that I use with my Audeze MM-500. Thinking if the IE900 could be a complement. But my guess is that they’re best with a high-quality portable device or a desktop solution.
I don't quite understand what you meant by the Sennheiser foam tip, but here it is the pic of the Azla SednaEarfit Max Standard.Do you put the foam from the Sennheiser tips on those?
I think they mean the little foam inserts from the stock tips.I don't quite understand what you meant by the Sennheiser foam tip, but here it is the pic of the Azla SednaEarfit Max Standard.
Oh that tip... nope didn't use those.I think they mean the little foam inserts from the stock tips.
There’s a piece of foam inside the Sennheiser tips to block debris. Did you move it to the new Azla tips you’re using?I don't quite understand what you meant by the Sennheiser foam tip, but here it is the pic of the Azla SednaEarfit Max Standard.
