I'm looking to add another set of headphones to my collection and am looking for an over the ear, open design. My current setup is a Squeezebox Classic feeding the Schiit Magni, powering a set of Mad Dogs with Alpha Pads. I really enjoy this setup but would like to try a more open design. I don't expect to change this setup anytime soon, except maybe to add a Bifrost at some point.
 
My budget is realistically $200 or less and music I listen to is a broad mix of classic rock, jazz, blues with some classical thrown in for good measure. I'd like to find something that will add a bit of variety and more open sound-stage without the sound being completely different from the Mad Dogs.
 
What would be the top headphones to consider?

philips x1 for a more bass heavy sound. (this is a maybe)
