So my Modi 3 don't work in cool weather "windows opened a bit". I contacted schiit, dead end. I said screw it, I am going to use my TempTec to my magni 3 to the vmoda's till I can find a DAC for my PC. Well to find out, I went to load up Call of duty 2 Multiplayer PC, game "original disc turned into ISO and installed, not steam" usually it takes 50secs to load, example> CALL-OF-DUTY-2-BLACK-SCREEN-WIN10-ISSUE , well I'll be damned, COD2MP loads in milliseconds, no more 50sec wait with modi 3 disconnected!
The second thing that the TempoTec solved, I use to have to have realtek sound enabled in uefi mostly all my intel boards with realtek sound for call of duty 4 modern warfare 2007 to load because have to enable stereo mix device under sound settings. Well, now with TempoTec I have Realtek sound disabled in my UEFI, and cod4mw1 2007 loads and plays fine without stereo mix.
And grand finale 3rd! I have sound!
Prob just gonna trash the dac in the can. useless.
