What genres would you guys say the M100 truly shines with?

EDM, mostly.  Anything with lots of bass and treble.  It makes everything sound a bit more natural for music like that, at least for me.  It's pretty okay with most other genres but it's outdone by many other headphones that are more suited for them.  Still among the best for EDM though, at this price.

All pop is great, particularly female vocals.  The M-100 is almost custom made for Rihanna.

Can we rebrand the M-100 as "Beats by Brown"?

My humour is in poor taste.

Alright, i have a question for anyone who has the time:
How do these sound with radiohead? If you don't listen to radiohead, here are a few examples:

Now of course, Radiohead has spread across a bunch of genre's....so that's why i added 4 videos. Just asking for some insight as for how they sound.

I am wanting to know how well the M-100 isolates outside noise as compared to other headphones like the K550 and Dt770.

It does an okay job.
DT770
M-100
K550

In the isolation graph, it's more important to pay attention to the lower frequency slope. Having taken the M-100's into coffee shops and subways, music, cart racket, and talking bleeds through a bit. Since I generally listen to music at lower volumes, I'm more likely to use IEM's. The M-100's are more suitable for libraries

I have the Beyer DT770 Pro 80...do you think the M100 will be a significant upgrade over them? Also people say that the DT770 has recessed mids so will the midss of the M100 be more forward than the Beyers? Lastly would people reccomend them over a Denon D2000? Thanks and anyone know when they will be available in the UK?

Thank you, very helpful

It appears they isolate a bit better than the K550 which I consider only just enough. I would love them to equal my DT770 but doesn't appear to approach that.

If you're doing home listening, I definitely find the D2k's superior. The D2k's have a surprizingly detailed midrange, sound stage is very good, and are by far the most comfortable headphones I've ever had on my head.. But if you're going for portability, then the M-100 wins it on that account.
As for the DT770 vs M-100 bit. I havent heard the DT770's in a long while, but out of memory, I thought they were more in the league of the D2k's, and a better headphone over the M50's(which is where I pit the M-100's).
On a personal note, the M-100's are going back. I am now looking to acquire the T70p's for a portable can. The isolation figures look crazy good, and appears that sound quality is more proportionally tuned torwards comparably priced home use headphones.

Very interesting transition from the M-100...
Today I received my T5p and love it. The T70p might be a bit brighter though.
