Plus a DAC. For IEM:s only for me it is overkill...But I do like my V222+V850 stack for headphones

Doesnt matter if your dac is balanced or not

I would say Bifrost is a nice mid-size DAC. A small one I used to run was the Grace balanced SDAC.
Small enough to just run off the USB power which was handy.

V222 and Bifrost 2/64 is a nice pairing. If your not OCD and don't mind a 90 degree turn it'll sit on top.

My v222 run hot like crazy wouldn´t stack on top of it

89° would be perfectly fine, at least for me, because it's a prime. Not the only reason I am saving my money for the V550, it's easier to align.… fits better in this regard, too.
