@harris4crna you can get a custom cable 4 banance speaker out to a single 4-pin XLR female (to which you could plug your calderan with a 4-pin XLR plugged cabled (if you custom order one, just specify how far the right and left channel duos are from each other, so they are bunched up into a single cable with enough room to split behind the amp). can do same with spades or whichever you prefer using amp side.

I do this with my old Decware Taboo SE84TS+ integrated tube amp into the Caldera and love it.

So far what I enjoy the most about the caldera is how textured music and stringed instruments sound. Stringed instruments in particular have a certain vibrato I’ve never heard in other headphones. Couple that with amazing dynamics and it’s pure bliss.

I’ve been the biggest Atrium stan for a long time, but Caldera may be taking the cake…

Does anyone have any recommendations for music that has a lot textures/sounds going on?

I’m generally surprised at how good Travis Scott’s music sounds on caldera haha. Open to all genres though!
I really enjoy modern electro genres on planar driven HPs and Caldera handles these superbly.

Posted earlier in this thread on a couple tracks I use to test a planar: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/zmf...gnetic-from-zmf.964836/page-391#post-17856720
No sweat for the Caldera whereas these can sometimes distort other HP's when pushed.

Anybody tried Caldera Open with Shiit Ragnarok 1? Is this amp good with it?

It's great with the version 2 on low gain, slams very hard!

Would like to purchase a 10ft cable with a 4pin XLR for the Caldera. Like the ZMF Verite Silver, but it will cost me over $1k for the desired length. Any other suggestions on par to the Verite Silver at the fraction of the price?

Audiophile Ninja cables.

Any of you thick pad enjoyers went back to stock?
Once you go thick, you don't go back

But in all seriousness, the thick pads add a nice bass boost and warmth I really enjoy over the stock pads.

Silver audiophile cables cost more than a thick silver necklace... 🤯

Never heard one, and I have no idea how it compares to the ZMF one, but you might consider a Moon Audio Silver Dragon cable, if indeed you want silver wire for less ($500 for 10'): https://www.moon-audio.com/silver-dragon-headphone-cable-v3.html

I'll let others chime in but I don't know of other, more "affordable" silver cables.

I don't have a strong desire for pure silver. The Verite Silver is a combination of silver and copper. Thank you for the suggestions.
