Does anyone else's rectifier wiggle a bit when slight pressure is applied? I've found this tube to be much looser than the others, though it glows and (seemingly) sounds as it should. For reference, I've switched the stock ez81 witn a NOS one, but the wiggling persisted.

Yep. I noticed this too and asked Justin about it. He said it was normal; the rectifier uses a different socket. Good to know as I thought the socket was loose.

Right? Glad I asked Justin and got the answer I did. Otherwise Pendant owners who don't know are going, damn, socket is loose. Just took a hit on resale value

Tonight’s tube set is all from the 50’s. 54’ Valvo EL84, 51’ Ken-Rad 5814 and U709 (58’ I think?). Listening on my VO. Wasn’t loving it with the AC. Switched to the AO, nope. Moved on to the VO and aaahhhh there it is. It’s nice to have options!
