These are vastly under appreciated. The marketing of them as a gamer headphone was borderline slander. These are the best Audeze I’ve owned and I’ve owned the LCD X, 2, 3, and 4Z. The tuning of these is far superior to all of those unless you enjoy EQ, which I don’t. These don’t have that huge upper mid dip and weird upper treble peaks that can sound metallic and harsh. These are as smooth as the Sennheiser hd650/6XX but more resolving and with a much larger stage.

The best compliment I can give to these, is that they are like a planar ZMF Atrium. And that is one of my favorites of all time.
