aptX Adaptive / aptX Lossless USB Transmitters

Got the FMA120, Paired with D&O.sky81 (qcc3081 earhook, bluetooth 5.4, aptx lossless and ldac) and KZ AZ20(bt 5.2 aptx lossless), work flawlessly with aptx lossless 44.1khz

I can confirm at the moment FMA120 is the most stable one and highest sound quality (loudness, bt codec stability, call quality) among ayino mr250 / eppfun pro max / bt-w5, etc

Hope they will add 24bit 48khz aptx lossless soon

P.s. Unlike other similar dongle having rgb indicators, it requires windows app to check the current codec.

P.s.2. Not usb c ....... only usb A
To get Aptx Lossless 24/48, a device needs the new S3 & S5 Gen 3 platform SoC. The only capable TWS to do this currently is the Vivo TWS 4 Hifi. The Eppfun Ak3040 Pro Max supports this standard. The Floogoo FMA120 does not, only Aptx Lossless 16/44

Sure could do that.

Q: As I am going to use with iPhone 15 Pro and iPad Pro it is important for me that the settings that are done (on a Windows PC) are saved on the device. It that the case?

Creative BT-W5 does that.

You have no other way than a PC(it has a python app for non-windows) to change the settings at all. You should really get the BT-W5 if you have an iphone because it has a physical button to operate it. Doesn't matter otherwise if you just want to set it once and listen to audio at one codec(hifi or low latency)

Just ordered myself from Amazon US :)
But before contacted to Flairmesh support, very nice guys, confirmed that unfortunately they have no distributor for FMA120 in Europe currently. Sounds like it won't be changing soon, hence... I went with US store.
Ye I've also asked before I ordered.

On another note, look mom, i made it. Im on TV!

Do the KZ AZ20 support LC3?

How's the latency? I'm looking for a similar solution to use for fps games and whatnot

Yes, it works on my iPhone 15 Pro as well as my iPad mini 6. Of course you have to configure on a PC or Mac, but the settings are saved on the device.

Thanks. Up and running

TechRadar's What is Snapdragon Sound article here
they also have the qualcomm updated compatible list for Sound devices here and mobile devices here

qualcomm dev kit which looks like a mini pc also here and also laptop range mention here

Its getting there slowly, shame about that price tag of $800-1k for that dev kit, looks like these qualcomm goods are going to be very expensive early.

Has anyone been able to get Bluetooth LE audio working on the FMA120? I've just got mine and it doesn't appear to work with my LE Audio devices at all. I have a pair of Moondrop Golden Ages and Galaxy Buds2 Pro, both of which claim support for LE Audio and LC3 codec and are on the latest firmware I could obtain. Neither of which the dongle could stream audio to in LE audio mode. I've also found the dongle to be incredibly finicky when attempting to connect to anything. Most of the times it will just get stuck in the pairing state and not connect to anything, despite having my TWS devices right next to it set to pairing mode.

I've enabled the option to prefer LE audio on the FlooCast software, but it either does not connect to anything or it just connects to devices normally. For example, my Moondrop pair would show up as 3 Bluetooth devices in pairing mode, one for normal bluetooth operation and 2 of them show up as "Moondrop-LEA" (which I assume is for LE audio). However, even with the option enabled in FlooCast the dongle will still proceed to connect to my Moondrop pair in normal mode. This behavior does not appear to happen with my Galaxy Buds as the dongle does not connect to them at all with the option enabled.

I've tried FlooCast on Windows 11 as well as a Linux instance. In both cases the software is incredibly finicky because it does not appear to display the device status properly, nor does it control the device properly. I found that clearing the device list in the software does not work properly because upon restarting the application or reconnecting the dongle, the previously paired devices will still show up. I could not get the clear devices button to work properly at all. The reason I have to constantly clear the list is because the dongle will frequently either get stuck in idle and not connect to anything, or will not pair to anything else.
Finally got chance to try my FMA120 today, it took about 10 seconds to pair with my Creative Zen Hybrid Pro over LC3 and appears to be working fine. Worth noting that these headphones only seem to support BLE audio as far as I can tell, that may have made things simpler.

This was using:
  • Windows 10
  • FlooCast 1.0.7
  • FMA120 v1.0.3
I've also successfully unpaired and repaired the two devices, without issue. Possibly worth you trying again with the latest versions of FlooCast and the dongle firmware?

Check out aliexpress right now. They're about to put on a welcome sale and also various LC3 products are being launched right now. Well actually it's just the one Eppfun sells on Amazon right now. They're doing heavy discounts to get the initial sales out, made out with 1TX 6Rx for $22 even though I only need one or 2. I bought the last 1 and then it raised to $30 with 5 of those left. You can make a new account to get a discount lol.

Caveat: The only review for this stuff is 1 that says it's muffled. Not enough to know anything about the product(customers are unreliable because bluetooth also sucks), and I did try the Moer LC3 which was terrible. But for some reason I expect this is closer to the same one Avantree will be launching in a month. Even though the FMA120 has 2 different quality tiers on LC3, none of these products mention it at all. You get 1 option with sub 20ms and that's it. The AS70P manual is up on Amazon, it's barren and is no different. The only type of LC3 I ever tried was via glitch on MTW4 firmware. 16khz would definitely fit the "muffled" description. Will be interesting to see what codec we are actually using. You guys can order this same one on Amazon next day but it's way more money there.
