Just installed some aftermarket extra thick lambskin pads. Original pleather pads were starting to harden and didnt provide good seal so tossed.

SR-202 does exhibit some soft Stax diaphragm crinkle sound when air pressure is altered when putting on/off the headphone aka Stax “fart”. This is partly why I prefer my L500.

Trade for Grado 325e or 225e.

This is becoming the best deal on Head-Fi, seriously $120 for 202s?! Someone please buy this, you will not regret it, the 202s are amazing. If these were priced in accordance with how good they sound, they would easily be 5x the price or more.

I cant deal with the apparent Stax “fart”. Supposedly its a common issue but I have to lower the price since the problem exists on this unit. When rotating your head to look around its activated momentarily. I think Im just extra sensitive to this annoyance because I listen to music at very low volumes.

I paid $90 just for the lambskin pads and used only a few times. Good deal if you just want the pads then flip the 202.
