Anyone else have any experience with these? Looking to buy another tube for my Lyr+ and have been really interested in these. They seem to have great reviews, but it’s a lot to drop for a tube. Thanks!

I have one in my Schiit Lyr+. Sounds great but I am experiencing issues with microphonics, especially in high gain mode. I have not run anything else in the Lyr+ except the stock tube. Definitely more tubey than stock but I'm not one to write a more extensive review. I decided to keep it. Do let me know your experience if you decide to get one. They have a good return policy.

I’m definitely looking for something with a little more warmth and body, but preforms great technically. Do you feel it’s has a better sound stage and imaging than the stock tube? They do have a good return policy so I’m probably going to take the leap. Thanks for the info and reply

Yes. I was honestly surprised at the difference considering the Lyr+ is a hyrbid tube amp. Still not as good as my other non-hybrid tube amps, but noticeably better than the stock tube.

That’s good to know, I just ordered mine today waiting for it to ship. Did you need a tube saver for it to fit in the Lyr+
