Burgundy red, a very exquisite color! How aboutt the UM earphone match with the M1?I have M1 for a while and great support from Anson. Currently listening with the latest ultraman firmware. Will explore more before sharing my impressions.

A burgundy red colour M1? 
Still early days of exploring, I paired M1 with a few iems and all sound good so far. For iems I'm listening with ultraman firmware / iem mode.
And also play around with the timbre switch at the back.

When I had a chat with Anson he said not to use IEMs in Headphone Mode with Ultraman Firmware as it is designed to push as much current as possible. Just keep that in mind.

As a fan of pop, my setup is in direct mode. In fact, the low gain of the headphone mode is enough to drive most of my IEMs. I'm just waiting for my new toy.

Just got HD490 Pro. The sound is a little similar to HD580. I will compare them carefully over the weekend. This time the cable is XLR to 6.35, so I use the HD800's 6.35 to 3.5 cable to connect to Listening M1. The build quality of HD490P is good, with a plastic body and lightweight.

They've released two back-to-back products. I'm more interested in HD620s but, sadly, they have chosen the HD59x housing

I am glad I got it instead of another high end DAP which cost more, but yet not sounding as good as the M1. Despite the unique shape, I love the volume knob, very smooth and the incremental control is very nice.

How's the Aehta with M1? Have very high regards of AuR IEMs but never got a chance to listen.
I think the Aehta is a great match with M1. Both are very musical sounding. Then again, M1 is making all my iems sound very nice, in particular Aehta, Infinite Mk2 and Softears Turii Ti in my collection.

what do you guys mean by "musical"?
My definition of musical sounding means toe tapping and engaging.
