Introduction
Hello to the Head-Fi community and our product owners we call the #FREQFAM.
As part of my involvement with the company, I asked Ben to bring you all a set of community updates at least once every quarter (and in busier times, more frequent) about what’s going on.
Things We Learned
We deeply appreciate the community’s support and understanding during the Scarlet Mini launch and it’s impending run-off causing the long lead times. We got over 2,000 orders and it’s still ongoing, making it one of our most successful launch products to date. Safe to say, we didn’t expect that - even with the additional hires and new facilities we had to ramp things up even faster than we already had in the works.
Our team has improved how we gauge demand and fulfillment, streamlining our process with more skilled employees to assist in those demand surges.
Here on out, we will be preparing a sizable bounty of products ready to ship at launch so if you want to order from the website, you will receive the products before they sell out at the same time as our dealers. can’t thank you enough for you feedback here that has helped us get to this point of where our lead times are back down to 1 week as of now.
We will not be launching any new products for a bit so we can continue maintaining.
Community Update
To kick things off, we will begin with proudly announcing that we will be attending all CanJam shows happening globally this year.
Our show interactions have proved tremendously successful for feedback and runoff and we’d like 2024 to be the year we start outreaching to as much of the community as possible globally.
Continued on, this remains the case locally. To account for the production need, we have located a 2nd office space in Singapore that is two floors, the first of which shall be open to the community. While details remain slim, this will become FatfFreq’s local community home, where we will have food and drink as well as host workshops, live music, and events.
We are excited to share more on this to come and will have more information in Q3.
Throughout Q2, we are excited to continue supporting the Head-Fi community through tours, sponsoring meetups and smaller events, as well as supporting press and collaborations coming soon with the industry at large.
