Need some advice regarding decent portable dacs, does anyone know a model/brand that has a dac that supports APTX-Lossless, or is planning to launch one?
I found out that crapy Qualcomm, has a whole line of QCC51xx chips, but there is literally only 1 that supports APTX-Lossless, that's the QCC5171
spec list:
Qualcomm QCC5171 Bluetooth 5.3
Qualcomm® aptX™ Audio
Qualcomm® aptX™ Voice
Qualcomm® aptX™ Adaptive
Qualcomm® aptX™ Lossless 1.2mb transfer 24bit 96Khz (LDAC is 990kb)
It's build on aptX Adaptive, but the only one which supports the lossless version is
I love!! the sound of the ifi xdsd Gryphon, but going to return it within the 30 day period. I am not paying 599 with now already a out of date DAC.
The support of aptx-lossless, which is already supported in a few launched phones, more are coming.
so really really hope people here already know of some decent, or equipment that will come out soon.
