I experience a new behavior of my M0. When it is connected to the PC, and I disconnect the M0 by swiping to the left, it shortly says: "disconnected" and then it starts UPDATING MUSIC automatically.
Since updating the music typically takes over 60 min. with 20.000 songs, I have to manually stop the process, but that does not save me. Since the update has started already, I have to finish it because the M0 forgets all the music once it has started updating.
This has been happening (firmware 3.1) since I installed firmware 3.2 and immediately rolled back to 3.1 because of serious volume issues.
Is automatic update after disconnecting from usb something that was intended, or is it a bug?

Any chance the 'update music' setting got turned to 'automatic' on?
What you describe is exactly what that setting does.

@endgame4 : thank you so much. I have always had that OFF, but just as you said, it was on. Probably did it myself by accident, then managed to overlook the most obvious, looking for complicated reasons. Thanks.
@Shanling there's a wrinkle with Vehicle mode I'm hoping is unintentional/fixable. When I take the player around with me (no charging/USB) and I turn it on* and start playing a song, it shuts off in one minute if I've left Vehicle Mode enabled. I would've thought that the mode would only be initiated by charging. Please advise.
* from off to on - I don't bother with sleep mode
When you have music playing, the vehicle mode should have no effect on M0. It should turn off only if no music is playing.
Vehicle mode was mode with idea that your M0 is pretty much stationary in your car.
@Shanling bluetooth connection with the sony wf-1000mx3 is not working. The earphone is not showing up to connect.
Strange, it's working fine with our pair. I know from past, some Sony earphones are tricky to pair with M0 for some reason, I would recommend to perform factory reset of the Sony and try again. Can also help if they are placed close to M0.

Thanks for your hint. Resetting the Sonys to factory settings did it. Now they are connecting .

I also have the same thing happening with the car mode. If in the car and charging it works as expected and turns on with the application of power and shuts down after a minute when power is removed. Then later if I turn it on when not in the car/charging it shuts down after a minute even with music playing

@Shanling i can't use my dap as a dac with Huawei mate 20 pro, i've tried 2 different cables, and many apps (inc. usb audio, poweramp, neutron) with no results. It goes in screen with dac logo but nothing really happens, is there any way to fix it?
FWIW:
1) The bluetooth update worked better for me where the volume isn't loud at the lowest volume number. (Before the highest I could listen was at volume level 4. Now that's at volume level 15.)
2) The playlist import works for the m3u8 playlists that I set up earlier. I just had to change the pointed drive to A:/.

i guess so, it works in usb mode very wellWere the cables 'OTG'?
Sorry, don't know what you mean by 'usb mode'.i guess so, it works in usb mode very well
The Hauwei will be in client mode unless you use an OTG cable to put it into host mode. 'I guess so' is not good enough.
