Hello!

Having achieved what I feel is total perfection of Dynamic, Open-Backed headphones in the HD6XX, I am interested in dipping my toes into the world of planar magnetic headphones. And from what I've heard from many sources, the Fostex "Dekoni Blue" headphones are a solid choice, boasting a much more comfortable, less exhausting, more easy listening sound than their orange counterparts. Price can be negotiated.

I don't know how durable they are, but I do have a rather large head, so durability is a must, which is why I'm more interested in these than offerings from HiFiMan. If you have one to sell, or you have some critical information for me (ie, "They break after 2 months!") do feel free to PM me!

Thank you for reading!

EDIT: I should also note that I am not a musician, so much as an audio enthusiast who likes to listen to good music. So do let me know if there are better choices!

Hi why must it be Dekoni Tr50p ? Is it for looks ?
The blue color IS nice. But it's mostly because of their inner tuning. As opposed to the more analytical, ultra-clarity sound of the base model, the blues have a warmer sound signature, giving a less exhausting, more pleasant listening experience, more suited to pleasurable listening than analyzing/composing. This is what I've heard anyway.
