For me, the biggest handicap of the MScaler is the BNC cables. Without the Opto DX box or something similar, a pair of good BNC cables is required to bring out the best of the MScaler. For those who are happy with the BNC cables that came with the MScaler, good for you. But it is not for me.

Congrats on the TT. Try using the TT coupled with ISO Regen and perhaps the new ifi Galvanic3.0. I believe it will make your TT sound much nicer. The galvanic isolation on the TT is not well implemented. It could do with some "external help" :)

Not sure if it has been reported before but I found that the Susvara paired very well with the WA33 amp in "high" mode. Meaning high impedance and high gain. This headphone needs plenty of power to perform well.

Yes. Adding an amp may change the sound, but so will a headphone and the headphone cable. At this level, almost every component will change the sound. The question is whether the change is for the better or worse.
