Chord 2Go & 2Yu Wired/Wireless Network streamer and S/PDIF adaptor - Official thread
I am using Sandisk. The interesting thing is Rigelian can load the whole library just fine, but not the other 3 apps (8Player, Mconnect, and Neutron). If I remove some of the folders where they stopped loading, they would progress further a few more folders and then stop. It seems I'll have no...- ChrisLN

Chord 2Go & 2Yu Wired/Wireless Network streamer and S/PDIF adaptor - Official thread
I am having a problem with using 2Go+H2 as DLNA server. I have a large library may be around 10,000+ songs organized in folders by album (in iTunes style). When I use apps on iPhone to scan the entire library on a single SD card, only part (may be half or so) of the library would show up in the...- ChrisLN

New TOL A&K DAP : the AK Ultima SP1000
And recently I got a PA10 to pair with the SP1K. Now, that's a true upgrade in sound, I would say.- ChrisLN

New TOL A&K DAP : the AK Ultima SP1000
If you truly want an upgrade, and if you like AK's sound, why not consider an SP3K? Most of the mentioned players would either be downgrades or side grades. Over the years since I got my SP1K, I have bought 5 other TOTL players when they came out (Cayin N8, LPGT, DX300 MAX, M17, and WM1ZM2) but...- ChrisLN

iBasso DX300 MAX Dual AK4499 Snapdragon 660 Octa-Core 6GB RAM 128GB ROM NEW Firmware: 2.02Available.
They replaced the switch underneath the button. Edit: I re-read the email from Kian. Actually he did not say anything about replacing switch. So it was just my guess then.- ChrisLN

I had the same problem last month with my MAX. I sent it in to Urban Hifi as was instructed by the seller Moon Audio. They ended up fix the power button for me for free. It had been of course long out of warranty. Kian over there is a very nice guy.- ChrisLN

Astell&Kern, or Astell and Kern, AK PA 10 portable headphone amplifier impressions, comments, or general discussion
The knob on mine has slightly more resistance after about 65% or so, but not a "bump", just tighter all the way to max. If I intentionally exercise it a couple times it goes away but after idling for a while it just returns. I guess over time with use it might become smoother.- ChrisLN

Astell&Kern, or Astell and Kern, AK PA 10 portable headphone amplifier impressions, comments, or general discussion
Mine has this imbalance, but not to the extend of 1/5 or 1/6 of MAX. It's more like less than 1/8. When the dot on the knob is at the straight down position I can not detect any inbalance with the more sensitive IEMs already. I just bought mine new with a really good deal this month and the...- ChrisLN

SONY IER-Z1R
To be honest, those were the exact reasons I bought the BSEP. I researched about it in the Japanese and Chinese reviews and really got hooked. Fortunately it did not disappoint.- ChrisLN

SONY IER-Z1R
Compared to the OEM cable, the BSEP tightens the bass a bit, elevates the vocal slightly and make vocal (esp. female) sound more real/dense , the treble is about the same to me (but I can't hear anything beyond about 13khz due to my ear ringing). Don't know about other cables.- ChrisLN

SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
I think the battery time depends heavily on how often you turn on the screen and flipping songs/albums. I've noticed if I play a very long playlist without turning on the screen in the middle, it consumed much less power. Sony's data may be assuming straight song playing without interruptions...- ChrisLN

Hifiman Serenade - Himalaya Pro R2R DAC headamp all-in-one
There's another collaboration between GoldenWave and Hifiman already for sale on Taobao: the Prelude. It's a pure headphone amp/preamp, no DAC. The amp is more powerful than the Serenade. I hope Hifiman will offer this in the US soon.- ChrisLN
