I bought PH because I read that they have more bass but I'd be willing to bet that they probably aren't that different. Just get the one you think looks best. The PH do sound awesome with plenty of bass. Very comfortable as well.

Yeah I tried a few different cans like the m50x, dt990, sennheiser hd598 and sony mdr 1a but the X2s are my favorite. If mine broke I would buy them again.
