Philips Fidelio X2?!
I would buy the M3. I have a couple smsl products (m8 and sd793-ii) and they both sound fine with my X2s.- Danielbea122

iCAN micro SE – (thanks to Meze - you guys are great!) Things are a rockin.
Incorrect it comes with jumpers you place on the resistors. From my manual: WARNING! WHEN JUMPERS ARE INSTALLED, THE FULL SPEAKER OUTPUT SIGNAL WILL BE ROUTED TO THE FRONT PANEL HEADPHONE OUTPUT. This is equivalent to connecting your headphones directly to the speaker outputs. While this is...- Danielbea122

iCAN micro SE – (thanks to Meze - you guys are great!) Things are a rockin.
I used this so that I could turn just the SE off https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NCTGHNK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Side note I would return the SE then buy this. I bought the emotiva and it has zero static plus it has a 50W headphone output so that you can literally set...- Danielbea122

hopefully you're not within a mile of anyone using a CB radio or you will get interference. my unit is basically useless other than keeping paperwork in place on my desk. should've checked the for sale section I would've sold this POS dirt cheap.- Danielbea122

Whats a good Dac/Amp for Fidelio X2/JBL 305s?
This is 50W for speakers and has headphone jack or you can insert jumpers to bypass the resistors and send 50W to the headphone jack and literally melt them https://www.amazon.com/Emotiva-Audio-BasX-stereo-amplifier/dp/B06XSCCRDH- Danielbea122

Purpleheart VS Mahogany
I bought PH because I read that they have more bass but I'd be willing to bet that they probably aren't that different. Just get the one you think looks best. The PH do sound awesome with plenty of bass. Very comfortable as well.- Danielbea122

Doesn't work. I still hear cb radio interference so the ican se is basically unusable wish I could return it. Poor shielding.- Danielbea122

Thinking about on ear or maybe over ear open back $300-ish or less
Yeah I tried a few different cans like the m50x, dt990, sennheiser hd598 and sony mdr 1a but the X2s are my favorite. If mine broke I would buy them again.- Danielbea122

inline volume control
The TV and PC. Its an ifi ican se. its a cb radio causing the problem so I was going to try and move it to another area of the house. I did read that the ifi dac has a chip that is known to have RF problems so maybe the amp has an internal problem. I know the amp doesnt have a chip but maybe...- Danielbea122

I have rf interference in my amp so I need a volume control between my amp and cans this way I can put the amp in another area away from the interference. My concern is will it hurt the SQ? If so do you guys know of one that wont murder SQ?- Danielbea122
