Around $80 budget headphones, which should it be?
It sounds like you've got it all figured out! I think it's up to you from now... I know it's a hard decision, but you can always return them if you don't like them!- dankthropod

Around $80 budget headphones, which should it be?
It really depends on personal taste. Everyone's ears are different. Some people are just more vulnerable to spikes in 3K hertz, which translates to them being tired after listening for a couple of hours. Do you have a hifi dealer nearby or a friend that has the models you want? The best way to...- dankthropod

Persistent crackling with DAC
Try booting ubuntu off of a USB drive. If it works its something wrong with windows and not any hardware.- dankthropod

Oohh an X5, the display looks so nice on them. And I've heard the sound is really balanced and natural. Also, have you heard? Onkyo has gone bankrupt.- dankthropod

I love how those old school amp dac stacks look, but yeah, they do not fit into a pocket as well as any modern DAP. I still use my fiio X3, especially because of the old-school clickwheel, I love the tactile feedback. It's something no touchscreen can replicate for me.- dankthropod

Can you hear a difference between DAC's?
Ok this is very interesting, I'll check again once I go to my ear wax removal appointment. And I'll also check using my whaferdale 4.4 evos, if you say DACs have a major part in speakers.- dankthropod

Keyboards?
I have never tried such a low profile keyboard apart from the apple magic keyboard. Looks nice, how does it compare to a normal laptop keyboard? (apart from being part of the logitech ecosystem)- dankthropod

The Audio Lounge
Hey! Just bought some toneking headphones, I think L8? If I remember correctly it has a main DD, and a separate one for treble. They were a bit of a gamble, since I couldn't find any reviews at all online. They'll take a while, what do you guys think of them? Do you know anybody who has tried them?- dankthropod

As far as I know, I don't think so. Also, you guys are making me jealous with your photographic skills, I'd wish to post my build here but my photos are so bad :(- dankthropod

excellent low end laptops
Wow those are some impressive finds for the price, 50 dollars for a laptop? I can only find bad deals when I search for things on ebay. Also that thinkpad is impressive for 300 USD, where did you get it from?- dankthropod
